Japanese recruit Rio Takeda pulled its third consecutive third for a two -stroke advance before the LPGA Blue Bay LPGA in China on Saturday.
The 21 -year -old carded five birdies against two bogeys on the island of Hainan and is nine years old for the tournament after the third round.
“I spent three good days with a lot of confidence and I want to bring this confidence tomorrow and finish a strong note,” said Takeda, who won the Toto Japan Classic last year.
“I don’t want to pay too much attention to the score, but just take it by hole and do my best.”
Three players are tied in the second row in seven sub -sub -sous – the American duo of Gigi Stoll and Auston Kim, as well as Cassie Porter in Australia.
Four players are another return, including Minjee Lee Australian and Jeeno Thitikul from Thailand.
“I am definitely someone who likes to look at the rankings,” said Stoll.
“I like to know where I am and what I have to do.”
The 28 -year -old man had a double bogey on the 14th hole and a Bogey on the 15th, only to derive three birdies in a row in his round of four under 68.
Stoll said that she would take on Sunday “a gunshot at the same time” in her pursuit of a first LPGA crown.
“Stay just present, enjoy being here, enjoying the moment … that’s all I can really do,” she said.
The 2016 Blue Bay champion, Minjee Lee, winged the eight and 15 holes in her round of 68 to jump the classification.
“I’m just trying to stay patient and let the golf come to see me,” said Lee.
