The Sander Norway Skotheim won the European Title of Interior Heptathlon in style during the last launch of dice in the Netherlands on Saturday.

The European record holder produced a better personal time of 2 minutes 32.72 seconds in the 1000m fence to take gold with a new total of continental record points of 6,558.

The performance of the indoor silver medalist indoors in Apedoorn has passed it third in the list of all time behind the Americans Ashton Eaton (6645 in 2012) and Kyle Garland (6639 in 2023).
