A man whose brother died of cancer calls runners to join him when he directs the Colchester marathon disguised as a pair of giant testicles.

Toby Freeman founded the Robin Cancer Trust after losing his brother Robin against testicles cancer, only 24 years old.

Over the years, Toby has tried to raise awareness of testicles cancer while supporting people affected by the disease and those who survive it.

In 2025, he should take up the Ultimate Endurance challenge, traveling more than 500 km dressed in the pair of testicles to raise awareness and funds.

As part of the challenge, he will face some of the most difficult races in the United Kingdom, including the Brighton marathon, the London marathon and an exhausting ultramarathon of 100 km.

Toby said: “I take up this big Balsy challenge because I want to break the stigma of talking about our testicles.

“I want to show young men through the United Kingdom on which there is nothing to be embarrassed, and that you check once a month could save your life.

“If I can make people laugh, we can start having serious conversations on our health – and it’s worth it.”

From the challenge, Toby will start his challenge by organizing the Colchester marathon on March 16.

Supporters of the event also have the possibility of winning boxing gloves signed by the Olympic bronze medalist Lewis Richardson.

The star, who represented the GB team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will start the event next weekend.

Lewis, who was born and grew up in Colchester, said that it was “a privilege” to support the charity against cancer and officer the start of the popular race.
